I start by taking Za'tar, one of my favorite spice mixes, and blooming it in extra virgin olive oil. Then I layer it throughout the the artisan sourdough. Herbaceous and citrusy from the herbs (typically sumac & thyme), with a hint of sesame providing a lovely tahini flavor. Sure to be a favorite! 1 lb loaf.
