Crumb and Sponge
Our twist on cinnamon buns! A delicious pillowy sourdough sweet bread, filled with a buttery and rich cinnamon mixture, these knots are delicious! Have them plain, or top at home with your choice of frostings - our favorite fast frosting recipes can be found below. Comes in a 3/4 lb tin. Can be warmed (or frozen, thawed and then warmed) for a delectable start to your day! Limited quantities and limited availability on this seasonal item!
Classic Frosting: 4 Tbsp. organic powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. milk, pinch of sea salt, 1/8 tsp vanilla bean paste or your favorite vanilla extract. Mix dry ingredients, then add in 1/4 tsp milk and vanilla extract, and stir. If too thick, add remaining milk and stir again. Mixture should be thick, like lemon curd or jam to properly coat.
Cream Cheese Frosting: 2 oz cream cheese (soft), 2 tbsp butter (soft), 4 Tbsp organic powdered sugar, pinch of sea salt, 1/8 tsp vanilla bean paste or your favorite vanilla extract. Whip cream cheese and butter together in a small bowl (I use a spoon for this), then add in sugar and whip till light and fluffy. Lastly, add a pinch of sea salt and the vanilla bean paste, and stir again to mix thoroughly. Mixture should be thick, like lemon curd or jam to properly coat.

Topped with butter and jam after lightly toasting? Yes please! It's also fantastic for sandwiches (simple or fancy!), or with a spread of pate, or a bowl of soup, the possibilities are endless!

Best enjoyed within a few days, our breads should be stored on the counter (never in the refrigerator) in the windowed bag, with the cut side closely wrapped.
